We worked with the museum staff and architects to design this interactive gallery of mid-century modern art that was part of an art museum on a college campus. The Museum wanted interactive experiences that would engage their visitors and support their collection. The exhibits and environment we designed help visitors observe the world with new eyes, create like an artist, enjoy art like a connoisseur, and discuss it like a critic. These activities support and complement the museum's permanent and temporary collections. We also designed and fabricated the necessary furniture, graphic systems, and other interior elements to complement our exhibits. Throughout the gallery we limited ourselves to a strict palette of materials, colors and forms so visitors wouldn't be distracted from what really matters.
