This exhibit lets visitors produce drawings in space, much as Picasso and other artists did using film cameras with long exposures. Visitors enter a dim room and select 8, 15, or 30 seconds according to how long they want to draw. Visitors pick up a wand with a light source at the end and draw in the air. A camera detects what they are drawing and shows it to them on a computer screen as soon as they let go of the button on the wand. Onscreen buttons allow staff members to print images and perform other tasks.
