3D Printing Large Acrylic Objects

Creative Machines has been developing one of the world’s largest 3D printers, and certainly the only one specifically designed to print in clear or translucent acrylic. This stems from our desire to break free from the sheets and sticks that most engineered materials are supplied in. We want to build in the way that nature builds, more like a spider, and that’s why we call our 3D printer “The Spider.” #gallery-6 { margin: auto; } #gallery-6 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-6 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-6 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

Stay tuned. We expect to achieve good results within a 60′ x 60′ x 24′ envelope by May 1, 2014 and then move to a full 60″ cubic volume in the months that follow.
