We have been commissioned to create a new ball machine, Le Reve de Newton, for the Pass, a children’s science museum in Belgium! Le Reve de Newton will sit at the entrance to a new exhibition, welcoming visitors as they arrive. The exhibition is themed around the physical concept of energy, the fascination it invokes and the presence it has in our everyday lives. The ball machine we have designed features a number of devices to explore those themes, such as the chaos wheel, which spins as balls enter it, a few bells and sound producing elements and other classic devices like the left-right switches and wooden blocks for the ball to jump down. We expect to install the ball machine in the late spring of this year. #gallery-7 { margin: auto; } #gallery-7 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-7 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-7 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
