Recently, we have been researching and testing out a lot of new materials and modes of construction for our pieces. We are looking for new and innovative ideas for artworks that can travel to different festivals and fairs across the country and eventually around the world. This week, we sent out our shrink wrapped Angler Fish piece which is currently on display at SPARK! Mesa’s Festival of Creativity. Joe O’Connell was working on the design of the fish, while Eric Gustafson, Paul Richards and David Irving have all been working together on the fabrication and lighting here at the shop. Earlier this week, Eric and Paul both drove up to Mesa to install the Angler Fish and were featured on Fox 10 News in the morning! See the clip of them preparing the piece here.
